How many hairs are there in 3000 grafts?
Whether 3000 grafts contain 3000 hairs or more, definitely 3000 grafts will contain 5000-6000 hairs depending upon number of hair in follicle unit. There are different grouping pattern in donor area. Almost 20% grafts contain single hair, 50% grafts contain 2 hair and 20-30% grafts have 3 to 4 hair.
How many hair grafts is normal?
Because hair restoration goals are different for each patient, the number of grafts needed will vary from person to person. In general, however, it’s usually anywhere from 600 grafts (for minimal hair loss) to 3,000 or more grafts (for more extensive hair loss).

Anywhere from 10 to 80 percent of transplanted hair will fully grow back in an estimated three to four months. Like regular hair, transplanted hair will thin over time.
